MachineTrak - The MicroTex CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) - Demo

MachineTrak has been undergoing an ambitious upgrade effort and the demo that is available here for download is being updated to reflect many important new features recently added to MachineTrak.  In the meatime, please be aware that this demo does not contain screen shots to demonstrate these new features:

bulletMaintenance
bulletThe ability to schedule maintenance tasks by periodic interval (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.) or meter reading, or both.
bulletThe ability to assign specific weeks of the periodic interval, i.e. the Xth week of each quarter, to spread the workload for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual maintenance.
bulletThe ability to schedule periodic maintenance tasks based exclusively on when they were last completed (based on date or meter, or both).
bulletThe addition of an "Overdue Maintenance" report with which to determine PM tasks that are overdue, by a user-specified number of maintenance cycles or meter intervals.
bulletThe ability to clone a maintenance schedule, or any part of it, from one asset to another.
bulletThe ability to clone an asset's component list, or any part of it, to another asset.
bulletGreatly improved screens for entering and maintaining completed maintenance data (parts used and tasks completed).
bulletInventory
bulletPart Finder:  a new, convenient method of finding the right part to issue for maintenance by selecting first the asset, then the needed part from a drop-down list of only the parts in the components list of the selected asset.
bulletBar-code scanning and printing:  due to be released in September 2000, this add-on module will scan parts being issued from inventory or received into inventory, or being counted for physical inventory, and will support the printing of bar-code labels for parts, assets and employees.
bulletReporting
bulletNew - enter clock in and out times and produce detailed shift reports, or individual employee reports, for the payroll department.
bulletAd-hoc report manager to provide more flexibility than ever before in retrieving your data "your way."  Scheduled for October, 2000 release.

In addition, our new predictive maintenance module is under development and is expected to be released in second quarter, 2001.

To download and view the MachineTrak interactive demo, click on the link later on this page and follow the directions that begin in the next paragraph.  When the demo is installed on your computer the install program will determine whether your computer is running Windows 3.x or Windows 95/98 and copy the appropriate files to your hard drive.  The demo is contained in a self-extracting, compressed file named "MTDemo.exe."  This file includes everything needed to install and run the demo, including a setup.exe program, icons and an uninstall program.

Once you have downloaded the demo to your computer, move the demonstration file into an empty folder.  Run MTDemo.exe to uncompress and extract the needed files.  Then run "setup.exe" in the demo folder to complete the installation.  When you run "setup.exe" a new folder named C:\MTDemo will be created on your hard drive, the demonstration program will be installed into the new folder, and the interactive demo will begin.  The necessary entries will be made to your Start menu to run the demo program, complete an order form for the program, or uninstall the demo from your computer.
